Scene Settings

The Scene panel controls the overall appearance, structure, and timing of your visualization. It includes timeline controls, the graph block, grid and scale, environment, and geo map settings.

Timeline

The timeline section controls animation duration and frame rate for your scene.

Total Scene Duration – Total scene duration in seconds (1.0 - 30.0). Controls how long your animation plays.

Frame Rate – Animation frame rate in frames per second:

24 fps (Cinematic)
30 fps (Standard)
60 fps (Smooth)

Graph Block

The graph block is the container that holds your data visualization. It can be enabled or disabled as an optional element.

Enabled – Toggle to show or hide the graph block.

Block Color – Material color for the graph block (ground + back wall).

X Padding (Left) – Left padding next to the scale labels (0.0 - 2.0).

X Padding (Right) – Right padding next to the graph (0.0 - 2.0).

Y Padding (Top) – Top padding above the graph (0.0 - 2.0).

Z Padding (Front) – Front padding toward the viewer (0.0 - 2.0).

Z Padding (Back) – Back padding between data bounds and back wall (0.0 - 2.0).

Ground Thickness – Thickness of the ground platform below the graph (0.0 - 2.0). When enabled, automatically links to the Environment Y offset.

Back Thickness – Thickness of the back wall behind the scale (0.0 - 2.0).

Grid and Scale

Grid and scale are optional elements that can be added or removed from your scene.

Grid

Show Grid – Toggle the visibility of grid lines in your scene. The grid helps with spatial reference.

Grid Line Width – Adjust the thickness of grid lines (0.001 - 0.1).

Grid Color – Set the color of the grid lines.

Background

Show Background – Toggle the visibility of the background plane.

Background Color – Set the color of the background plane.

Scale

Show Lines – Display reference lines along the Y-axis scale.

Show Numbers – Display numeric labels on the scale.

Show Ticks – Display tick marks at each scale position.

Show Horizontal Lines – Display horizontal grid lines at each scale position.

Horizontal Line Width – Adjust the thickness of horizontal grid lines (0.001 - 0.1).

Horizontal Line Color – Set the color of horizontal grid lines.

Scale Divisions – Number of divisions on the scale (3-20). More divisions create finer granularity.

Decimal Places – Number of decimal places for scale labels (0-5). For example, 1 = "1.0", 2 = "1.00".

Scale Width – Adjust the thickness of scale lines (0.01 - 0.2).

Scale Color – Set the color of scale lines and numbers.

Note: Scale label settings (font, size, color, etc.) are now configured in the Labels panel.

Environment

Show Environment – Toggle the visibility of the preview environment model.

Environment Preset – Select which environment model to use. Presets are loaded dynamically from the admin configuration and may include options such as:

Infinity: Infinite floor/backdrop environment
Backdrop: Studio backdrop environment
Other custom presets configured by administrators

Preset Colors – Each environment preset has its own set of configurable colors (e.g., ground color, backdrop color, accent colors). The available color settings change dynamically based on the selected preset.

Environment Offset – Position offset [X, Y, Z] for the environment model. Range: -5 to 5 for each axis.

Note: The Y offset is automatically linked to the Graph Block ground thickness when the graph block is enabled. The Y slider will show a "(Y linked)" indicator and be disabled in this case.

Geo Map Settings

These settings are only visible when working with geographic (geo) scene types.

Map View

Map Center Preset – Quick presets for centering the map:

Global: World (0°, 0°)
Continents: Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa, Oceania
Countries: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, UK, USA, Canada, Brazil, China, India, Japan, Australia, Russia
Cities: Berlin, Paris, London, New York, Tokyo
Custom: Enter latitude and longitude manually

Center Latitude – Latitude for the map center (-90° to 90°).

Center Longitude – Longitude for the map center (-180° to 180°).

Zoom Level – Map zoom level (0-14). Higher values zoom in closer.

Region Style

These settings control the appearance of context regions (countries/states not carrying data).

Solid Height – Height of region geometry (0.005 - 0.05).

Solid Color – Fill color for context regions.

Border Color – Color of region borders/outlines.

Border Width – Width of region borders (0.0005 - 0.01).

Region Visibility

Region Selector – Interactive selector to control which regions are visible in the scene. Features include:

Per-region visibility toggles (solid fill and borders)
Badge showing count of regions that have data
Compact and expanded view modes
